We got the pictures now because he entered a guilty plea to downloading and distributing child porn.

I am not saying that the man in the pictures is him, but if he hadn't been continually breaking the law he would be living in anonymity getting on with his life now.

this is confusing. we got what pictures now? the ones posted earlier and pm'd to me without asking by a poster, they werent mug shots they were a bloke at work and sitting at home.
