Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fantastic value, being able to save €100ish by dropping the OS helps a lot. Have to be prepared to wait a bit for delivery. The specs on a lot of these Lenovo ideapads are far higher than the cost suggests. There is another cheaper model I had ordered before cancelling and opting for the above. It is excellent value for anyone looking for a cheaper model. Dual channel memory on this :
    81W1CTO1WW - IdeaPad 3 15 05

    Ships in 3-4 weeks.

    Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Processor (2.10GHz, Max Boost up to 3.70GHz, 4 Cores, 4MB Cache )
    Operating System - Free-DOS
    Operating System Language - Free-DOS
    Onboard Memory - 4GB DDR4 2400MHz Onboard
    Selectable Memory - 4GB DDR4 2400MHz SoDIMM
    Total Memory - 8GB DDR4 2400MHz Onboard
    Second Hard Drive - 256GB Solid State Drive, M.2 2242, PCIe-NVMe, TLC
    Display - 15.6" FHD (1920x1080), TN, 220nits, Anti-glare, No touch
    Graphic Card - Integrated Graphics

    Stupid question time...

If I follow the links from HUKD I get to a black page...and can't get any further.
I put the code from HUKD into the passcode box and it doesn' let me in...

    Am I doing something wrong?

For best bang for buck go with the 4000 series processors, the 3000 (eg 3500U) aren't as good (both value and speed).

You might want to contact them and get the ram bumped to 8gig, otherwise its a decent laptop for the price.

the Irish site seems to be as cheap if not a touch cheaper than the UK equivalent in some cases.
The link and code given earlier on page 2 in the thread works. Try in a browser with the cache and cookies cleared.
Coupon Code: 4xeMTyOjIdJc for whoever needs it

  • Registered Users Posts: 72 ✭✭sapphade

i think its somehow mucking it up as having been in an earlier cart

im going to try to get in navigating to the main site and finding the login area, try the customization myself.

but cheers again for the steer, still optimistic now that ill get it at a fair discount

ok sorry i couldn't help further . I think you are right about having something in cart before and then checkout and back to cart causing errors , I tested the link in a different browser and seemed to work ok . Also Kudos to the OP who suggested I sign up for the newsletter . Further 10 percent off brought the build down to 460

Once you go to cart stage, don’t think you can rebuild. Just restart. And remember, you must use a Uk shipping address.

There's a tool you can download directly from MS that'll create an install image on a USB key. You'd probably need to change the boot order (SSD > USB) in the BIOS, but that just involves hitting a key and navigating a few menus.
