Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are there more Munster fans at ospreys home ground?!

I'm at the stadium. It's a fairly even split where I am. Atmosphere is poor I must say. I'd say there was more in Thomond Park last week for Munster v Ulster.

Great to see Farrell do that.

Offloads galore... Such a welcome sight.

John Ryan the man with the worst hands in rugby offloading. John do us a favour and focus on catching the bloody thing! :D

Lovely lineout play with TOD making great ground.....Earl's eventually finishes well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,610 ✭✭✭eigrod

No arms tackle on Earls too.

Actually maybe not from behind goal angle,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,413 ✭✭✭chupacabra

    That is a savage finish

    Well done Conway... Afterburners.

Great gas Conway. Could have done with him c NZ even off the bench!

    Loughman having a MOTM performance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,994 ✭✭✭c.p.w.g.w

Serious pass from Loughman...his been my MOTM, his looking for the ball and is doing a good job at the ruck

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

    Sam Warburton afaik

I'd like to see Dan Goggin get some game time. But I can understand they need to keep Scannell on the pitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,871 ✭✭✭budhabob

Very poor mistakes the last few minutes. Need some calm if we're to get TBP

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Trying too hard now to get the 4th

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Not getting bonus point here would be a travesty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,610 ✭✭✭eigrod

Be as well off conceding the try here and getting the territory from thr ko

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,248 ✭✭✭kingofthekong

Munster not getting the bonus point here in a pool with Sarries and Racing is a massive failure , this is a shocking Ospreys team

Zactly. Let them walk over the line and small chance of a try BP then.

Daft to defend that the way the did. Serious lack of streetsmarts.

Exactly - tonne of time wasted here for nothing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Had nearly 30 minutes to get one try

Been poor since the Subs started.

    Tech question:
    * Score is 25:6 - Munster want 4th try.
    * Deep in there own 22
    * The clock is at 72 minutes
    * Munster spend the next 6 minutes defending.

Would they be better served letting them just score, so they get the ball back for a drop on halfway and chance to regroup?

(this is a common tactic in basketball and american football)

Been poor since the Subs started.

But it's horrendously bad game management.

Concede a try of absolutely no consequence in order to bring play back to half way with some time still on the clock.

    An absolute no fukcin brainer.

    1 more chance

Good few comments before this saying that yes, logically it would’ve made sense.

They were never gonna do it though

This is the surprisingly common zero incentive finish. Both teams have points to play for. I sort of don't like it.

Its happens alot in American football, where time management is a huge part of the game.

Although they dont have to worry about things like points difference

  • Registered Users Posts: 423 ✭✭AlfaZen

That Bonus point could be vital. Now leats hope Ospreys can do is a favour when they play Racing and Money bags.

Are the highlights for the Champions cup being shown on terrestrial this year? They were on TG4 last year but don't see it in their tv schedule for this weekend

Not sure. If they let them score and they get another they get a LBP. Sport is quite momentum based. Give someone an inch, they take a mile

Game was close to how I thought it might be, still a lot of errors and penalties which cost us position. Conway has be superb for Munster, surprised he and Scannell were subbed off. Earls looks like he's getting younger. Loughman deserved his MotM award, he was terrific.

Very happy to get the BP win away from home.

    Roll on next week.

Farrell completely murdered the Ospreys 13 at that ruck.

Tbf the 13 was just kinda standing there asking to get smashed. Farrell just obliged, hopefully the young fella learned a lesson today :D
