Duvet Day I won't quote your post and forgetting all the joke flirting I do with you it made me sad to read that. I would definitely class you as someone who deserves happiness in life. You are a nice, caring and very funny lady. I don't know your past but I can say you have a lot to offer a new suitor should you decide to go looking for one and he would be a very lucky man. I'd wager that most of us in the thread tonight are lonely enough but sure at least we all have each other.

Thank you all for your good wishes from the last thread. I feel better already for giving myself time to reflect and grieve.
I have little to complain about when compared with some of the wonderful posters here.

The very small family I still have, some good and loyal friends, good health and no real money worries, are the positive aspects which keep me on an even keel.

Hope you all make the best of the season of goodwill and look forward to better times in the new decade ahead.

Happy Christmas to all! I'm sitting relaxing watching Roy Orbison on BBC4. All calm here now after the excitement for Santa, the two younger boys conked out surprisingly, just waiting on the teenager!

Ham and stuffing cooked and having a few glasses of wine..it's not just Christmas Eve, it's my birthday so enjoying this moment...for a small space of time stress and worries are parked. And Santa on the way, a little bit of magic.

Home now after another crappy Christmas Eve in the monster in laws . God almighty what a shower of .....

Santa arrived here too. I may have missed him while as well, he's a magical fella. I sleep easily every night but for some reason I can't tonight. So a few songs quietly on You Tube,Flying Pickets Only You on repeat, not technically a Christmas song but synonymous with me.

I may have given the dogs a few pieces of ham..there's plenty..and they're happy

Morning lads..very happy campers here this morning, a room full of presents, clothes , runners,football boots speakers,phones and a whole lot more...and now they're all gone back to bed lol.

I got a Fitbit, underarmour and Nike gym gear...there's a hint in there somewhere ...I've told them I'm going "clean" on the 2nd of January as they're all back training on the 8th and on about this clean ****e all week...organic wine from now on for Duvet..dafuq.

Have a fantastic day lads,so deserved by everyone one of you. xxx

I know. Kids are so blasè now. Mine said to stay in bed and set the alarm for 8. When I was their age I'd be up 1st thing running around in my underwear ripping wrapping paper off my prezzies
