Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That’s awful news Witchie. That poor family are in my thoughts.

Hope you have a safe journey x

I’m on the couch with a glass of strawberry and cream baileys, OH beside me and baby on my lap watching It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

    Appreciating the little things tonight.

Just finished watching the Brendan Grace tribute on RTE, brilliant show (apart from that trollop Twinkle having too much to say on it, horrible person).

Its a hot night, the dogs aren't settling so might bring them both out for a little stroll.

Days leave tomorrow, I hope Richo lets me sleep on.

It was actually great Grem, what a lovely man, agree about Twink though although seemingly they were great friends, he mixed with the rich and famous but never changed, I'm actually a bit emotional after it also,he was so good to so many people. ..I'm couchside waiting on a teen to come home, he's on his way so door can be locked shortly.

Twinkle ''he's a disciplinarian''... 30 seconds before ''I can't resist cakes, my lifestyle lead to my diabetes''... I can't stand the bitch.

I loved David Soul talking about their friendship, and I'll admit to getting a little emotional when he sang The Dutchman, one of my favorite songs.

Having a coffee in a lovely little cafe in my mums hometown in Mayo and listening to Dermot Kennedy. Came to visit her grave, put down some lovely roses and just tidied it up a bit.

    Bedside.
Tired. Bit emosh too: y\all got me thinking about my own dearly departed.

Odd thing Salt SweatSugar, visited my father's grave this evening, just out of the blue wanted to say a quick hello and I was driving nearby so popped in. Was nice. He'd a been laughing at me :) Don't do it that often.

Five days without coffee, its only tough in the mornings like right now. Its weird, while I'm starting to feel more alert throughout the day and I'm not necking another coffee before doing something I'm also finding it harder to motivate myself to get out running but I'm guessing that will pass.

Has anyone given up coffee and how did it go for you?.

Plans.. I'm on a days leave so I'm just going to let the day flow and see what happens.

Couldn't resist any longer, just had my first coffee in five days and now feel like a child after eating a bag of sugar :)

Watching some of of the orange order parades up the north and thinking its a shame that there are people involved in all that who will purposely set out to cause offence to Catholics and there are Catholics who'll just look to take offence anyway instead of just accepting each other's traditions and getting on with making some kind of peace.

Why can't we just be nice to each other!.

Totally my dad is from the north and I remember when we were small going up to visit family and we couldn't drive because of the southern reg on the car and we were always told not to speak in the shops because of our accent !

I'm packing boxes of clothes for the charity shop and filling bags of clothes for recycling.

Have lost a lot of weight and now close to ideal. Bought a few new things that fit. Being so ruthless that if I'm tempted back to my old eating habits, I'll have absolutely nothing to wear, bar my birthday suit!

    Puzzled

Fred Flintstone here has a car with a real key that goes into a real door keyhole and opens the thing even if the car battery is disconnected.
When less stress maybe you will edumacate me on modern ways ?

About to go to the recycling centre. ( I.e. Dump )
