Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You’re reading my post too literally. I’m asking a question.

Beer like most cold beverages is refreshing so I’m wondering why anyone would choose to drink rockshore. It’s pure piss water.

No, you were being an asshole. Their point was very clear fron the first three words of the post. They said they liked it.

Ironically that’s the stout is the only one I want out of it. The rest are descent beer to be fair but the reserve stout looks interesting.

It’s a bargain though no matter what way you look at it.

would you recommend it versus Jameson or tullamore dew or bush mills

I've never tasted it! Was just replying to a question asked in the last thread

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,473 ✭✭✭Mimon

Equivalent of a bud or coors. Wouldn’t be for me but if you’re into that type of light beer go for it.

Thanks. Not for me. I like my craft beer. Have to pick a slab of lager for a buddy who said he's not fussy about the type.

Was thinking at 3 or 4 in the morning I may run out and would be good if I have to ask him for a can or two that it is half drinkable.

What you said. Would love to give the new stout a try. Crafty Stout is one of my favourites. Can’t find these boxes though in the couple of Lidl’s I’ve tried

Crafty stout isn’t bad at all to be fair. I do a lot of shopping in Lidl so it’s a handy one to pick.

It’s a very low abv so I tend to couple it with a nice whiskey.

Just a cri de coeur from a long time poster here.

Can we please stop insulting what other people choose to drink.

I really don't care what some anonymous person thinks about one drink as opposed to another.

Just put up the deals and let us choose.

    It's really that simple.

Absolutely. There is the “Good” Drink Bargain Alerts thread for people who are picky as to what they drink.

    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056307978&page=139

I’ve had bargains off both threads but honesty don’t care what someone else chooses to drink.

Just as word of warning to anyone who picks up the brown bear craft beer gift set from Aldi. Packaging on the box is a heap of sh1t. Picked up set there this evening and the bottom fell out box broke as carrying it into kitchen there and 10 of the 12 bottles shattered on the tiles. House smells like a brewery after it all. Annoying when €20 gone down the drain just like that.

Anyone know when this slab deal expires?

    The Tesco website says:
    "Any 2 For 35.00
The items below are only available for deliveries on or before Thursday 10th December 2020.
To take advantage of this offer, add Any 2 For 35.00"

But Tesco take liberties with their finish dates

Raging I only picked up the one box. The limited edition stout is delish, just be careful opening it, very fizzy.

Much prefer the smaller cans for at home 'leisure'

im probably close enough to that myself.... and i already had a fair few stashed under the stairs to begin with :D

my wife does drink it though.

my favourite is faustino 5. at 7.50 in tesco at the moment, i don't think we will ever see this price again. i think it would be prudent in that case to stock up for 2021, maybe another 50 so :D

even at this price, i'd be happy to throw it into the cooking which i normally reserver for the cheaper bottles!
