Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would be interested in seeing some of the comic related guests, alright (Dave McKean, James Jean, Chip Kidd). Expensive at 120 euro. Anyone been to one of these conferences before, is it worth the money? Still, sounds interesting.

Thanks for the link ztoical, wouldn't of heard about it otherwise.

I've been to a few similar conferences hosted by the society of illustrators in new york but was thankfully able to get a student discount at the time. Not sure if it's worth it to people not working in the field depends on whose taking - I've seem James Jean, Chip Kidd and Tara McPharon do talks at different cons and Jean and Kidd are very interesting esp Kidd who had some great stories you could listen to all day, McPharson not so much, even though I'm a huge fan of her work, she just wasn't a good public speaker.

Worth keeping an eye on the website maybe they'll do some single talk ticket things or other events if people don't want to/can't go to the whole thing.

I've seen a few recorded panels of Chip Kidd online. Definitely entertaining stuff.
