Looking at it here via a vpn in Turkey its 36 euro and change for the year for a family account and about 24 euro for your normal account.
The thing is you can pay for a year in Advance for a single premium account but have to pay monthly for a family account...so guess with revolut you could keep a turkish balance so the monthly debit comes out or just pay in advance for the year ðŸ˜Š
Works for Deezer and Netflix too

Your right there just tried and it didnt like my revolut card maybe I need to put in a turkish address on it...
But I just got Tidal subscribed via a vpn and paypal for peanuts for a family plan :-)

can someone help, I set up a family plan, my sister my dad and myself, using my address. But my sister got kicked as they couldn't verify the address

Have we done something wrong? Should I have used a different address

Make sure everyone has a fairly generic address

E.g..

1 main street
Cavan town
County Cavan.

If anyone can advise me I'd really appreciate a PM. We only set up the family last week, maybe I should have used my old home address where my dad is. But then I'd have been caught out as I haven't had post going there in 20 years

Spotify has begun to use GPS to validate address details to ensure that people are living at the same address.

So if you get a validation mail or join a family make sure not to allow GPS in the app and use manual address validation.

As long as GPS is not mandatory it should work.

I've looked in the APP settings there are no references to GPS in there and there was nothing to tick about manual address validation - where are you seeing this?

Spotify has begun to use GPS, that does not mean they have rolled it out fully.

They started in some countries as of yesterday afternoon to ask for validation via GPS when you sign up/join a family or when they send you an e-mail as they suspect you are not a family.

In Ireland, they will start using Eircode or GPS shortly, in Germany they are now using primary GPS and Postleitzahl (Eircode similar) secondary.

You also should see new T&C coming out soon which includes a change as to the usage or precise mobile positioning.

alright I only asked as I wasn't seeing GPS settings and what they do in germany isn't helping me much here

we did use Eircode (the same one) to verify - that's why I was asking what others were doing to get past this
