Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you blast too much water through the capsule it will taste horrible. Eject the capsule and press again to get hot water for topup.

Is there a voucher re the e80 credit included? Wanted to check is this definitely available with this machine before ordering.

    Thanks for any help.

    Bump..:)

There is no voucher included, but you don't need it. Just register your machine on the nespresso site and mail them a copy of the bill.

    https://www.nespressoukpromotions.com/consumer/mobile/consumerdetails.aspx?Type=Trade&Country=ROI

You need to register with nespresso first, as you need your member number.

Using this fairly often now since I got it and the only complaint is it's a bit noisy - apart from that its super

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,085 ✭✭✭paddydriver

Thanks Cheshire_Cat.. might look at getting one.

What if you buy this for someone and give it as a gift?!
    What happens with the voucher?

I was thinking of buying two for my parents and my inlaws but they wont have a clue how to register and I'll only have one receipt!?

There are two options to tick. One is that you received the machine as a present. You also have the option to choose whether you want to deal with them by email or snail mail. I'd say you can register it for them, too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,977 ✭✭✭johnny_adidas

I didnt need the receipt, just clicked it was a gift. got voucher within 2 weeks

Where do I get my nespresso club number in order to get the voucher? I've signed up and registered the machine online and got the email yesterday confirming this but they said I should get a follow up email with my membership club number. How long did it take other people to receive this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,450 ✭✭✭Batesy

Got my membership number in about 2 hours.

I am in the UK, but we didn't receive any kind of confirmation etc. Voucher itself came with the Post within a week (and that was with New Year in between).

  • Registered Users Posts: 213 ✭✭Callanutd

Same as above I got my voucher within a week. My better half got me a U for Christmas so I only got a 50 Euro voucher so used it towards the aeroccino.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 591 ✭✭✭ccull123

sweet id recommend you get the nespresso welcome pack if you can its €100 (- your €80 so you get it for €20)
its 250 coffies and a nice sisplay case its what i bought too :-)

Would you have a link for this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,977 ✭✭✭johnny_adidas

it only shows up in the store for your first order. After that its gone. I rang up to order one (as they were out of stock when i was placing my first order) which they sent without any issue.

I noticed this myself and can't see the option for the 80 euro with the cream one. Thinking of selecting the black one and see what they say.

Anyone know when the welcome offers are due back in stock? Got my gift card and went to order today, but both welcome packs are out of stock. :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,450 ✭✭✭Batesy

Not sure. I found most of the coffee samples included with the machine to be too weak for my taste anyway and a lot of them are included in the Welcome Packs so I went and ordered a selection of the more intense capsules with my €80 credit.

I got the Intenso Assortment pack. (1 sleeve of Kazaar, Dharkan, Roma, Arpeggio, Ristretto)

    50 Dharkan
    50 Arpeggio
    50 Fortissio Lungo

    So 200 capsules for €76.50

Due to be delivered in the morning.

My gift card arrived last week so I went online yesterday & they were in stock then. Already marked as dispatched so I'd imagine it will show up next week sometime.

You have two buttons on the machine- one for espresso shots, one for small cups of coffee- the espresso shot- is literally, a shot glass of intense coffee (the way its drank on the continent)- the small cup- is the smallest pyrex cup size- what you'd get for a standard cup of coffee in most places on the continent- its not a mug, or a soupbowl volume- its a small cup.

Most people I know do a double into a standard cup- for a full sized cup of coffee.

Do you mean a double espresso shot or a double lungo shot with lungo capsules?

Anybody who bought this still waiting for the gift card to arrive?

I bought a different model early in Janurary, registered it online and got confirmation that the card would be sent out within 4 weeks. Well after 4 weeks I e-mailed them and was basically told to just be patient - the card will be on its way soon. It's 2 weeks again since and still nothing.

How long does it take to verify the unit's serial number and throw a card in the mail?

My voucher never arrived either. I rang them yesterday & they said they sent it a month ago. Told me they would credit my account directly rather than issue another voucher & phone me when it's done. Didn't get a phonecall but I see the credit has been added.
