Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Always handy to know what vouchers other people are getting.

Tassimo coffee pods currently 3 for €10.

Plus strategies for how to get vouchers - seems to be a pattern of not shopping there or don't scan your clubcard when shopping.

I also received no spend & save vouchers although I shop weekly in tesco for a fairly high amount and it peeved me off so much last night I contacted customer services and queried why a loyal customer did not receive them.

They are sending them out to me so may be worth an e-mail or phone call.
By the sounds of it I wasn't the only customer to contact them to complain.

The purpose of the thread is to post bargains in Tesco as stated on page 1.
I too, am in the regular Tesco customer group that don't get vouchers because I shop too much there.
It is pretty clear that Tesco don't see the benefit in rewarding loyalty.
But, maybe we could get back to posting the odd bargain.
    Anyway apologies for off topic..

See, the problem is when this thread is left to just posting bargains, it gets very quiet compared to a few years ago! Or compared to times like this week when a debate kicks off, which to be fair is of benefit to those of us shopping in tesco :pac:

I see Tesco boost doesn't have too many restaurant options anymore, just Milanos which is pretty poor but they will let you boost a maximum of €40 to get €160 off a booking on Central parcs, not sure how long the validity is but might be useful for some.

I was trying to decide if I was better off staying on the Christmas saver or moving back so that I could boost my vouchers.....not sure now.

Tesco had spend&save coupons in newspapers last December. Fully expect same this year.

There is a separate thread specificity dedicated to Tesco spend & save vouchers so it would make more sense to have this discussion there.

But while we're at it here anyway, I don't shop that much in Tesco and still didn't receive any spend & save vouchers with my points statement yesterday. Another family member hardly shops in Tesco at all and received five vouchers today for €27 off €160 spend!!

That's a little confusing, isn't it? 3 for 2, with them being 8 euro each. That would be 2x8, 16, no? Instead showing as 20.

It is confusing. If they were priced at 3 for 2 then 3 of them should cost you €16. For some reason they are charging €20.

3 for €3, mainly tubes of sweets, but some biscuits/crackers/small selection boxes too

    Yesterday.
Bought something clearly priced at €3.50 but got charged €3.99 for it on self service desk.
So paid, got receipt and went up to service desk.
Me: "I was over charged for this"
    Staff: "Sorry about that"
Me: "Do you still do Double the difference?"
Staff: "Yes" and proceeds to refund me €3.99 x 2
    Me: Thanks for help ;)

    Today
    4 Croissants in a box for €2.50, buy 2 for €4.
Bought 2, got charged €2.50 each and then €1 knocked off each one so got
    2 for €3

Yeah the prices were not that great.

2x6 walnut whips for €10, its €1.50 for 6 in dealz so less than half the price of their offer.
    https://www.dealz.ie/walnut-whip-6-pack

and they do have the walnut in dealz now, some still do not. Malteasers and terrys chocolate orange stuff is usually cheaper per gram. I also prefer the smaller packs as they get demolished once opened regardless of size.

I was in Tesco Wexford at 5 - if there were serious reductions in turkeys, hams or sweets very few knew about it. There were no signs up, and while there was a completely unintelligible announcement on the Tannoy that might have said this, I saw nobody reacting and heading towards the turkeys. When I left about 5.30 there was a stack of turkeys and hams unsold. Even the usual "salmonella corner" was poorly stocked and nothing more than the usual maybe 20% discount.
I thought I'd pick up some high quality mince pies (the cheap ones this year are ****e) at reasonable prices - there were none reduced, at Tesco, Dunnes, LIDL or ALDI.

Tesco Dundrum was giving away stuff for absolutely nothing, the ques were terrible tho, but the customers were delighted to get there Xmas meal sorted at a really low price, every second person had turkeys and hams... I couldn't believe my eyes...
