Sickener for Romania. Lovely goal but France didn't deserve it really imo

The romanians havn't seen a shot that accurate since Ceaușescu was executed

Payet took some of the attention away from my pun. I'll try it once more...

If the Romanians dribbled more often, they'd get pastrami.

    Back of the net.

I'm sorry to break it you, but it wasn't that funny.

Eamo gets in his first 'baby' of the tournament.

They seem in better form now then they did before the game.

That was lovely the way they passed the ball back to each player and then tapped it into touch.

Funny thing about Payet is he's so old. He feels like a newly discovered young talent.

That was some funky sh1t playing over the RTE montage.

Apres Match ripping the piss of those TV license ads.

Fair play to Romania, really showed some guts there tonight, I hope they can keep going like that over the next 2 games.
I like Pogba, some of his worming out of tight spots and clinical passing is incredible. But he fairly disappeared out of the game so Didier made the right choice to pull him off.

They will. It's only goals scored in penalty shoot-outs that they don't pay on.

I didn't get paid anything. Atm having a live chat since the game finished with the betting company who seem to think Payat score the 2nd goal. They are still looking into it.

Potential winners and semi-finalists: France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium and England.

Albania over Iceland in the final, 3-1.

I'm off to PP to put a few bob on that.

Fantastic goal. Hard to see West Ham holding on to him.

Also nice - in an era where international football is becoming somewhat devalued against top-level European competition - to see how much it meant to him when he was leaving the pitch.

They say "Stancu score with a Penalty kick. That is it is not counted as a 2nd Player to Score"
I have asked for a link explaining this ruling.

Follow a couple of football journos on Twitter that are in MArseilles, feel sorry for them, must be pretty scary.
Been some awful fights going on, just have search on Twitter for marseilles and you'll find a ton of images/videos.

I don't understand why English fans have to act like that. Imagine saving up your money for months and bringing your kid along and having to put up with gobsh!tes throwing chairs and fighting and then the riot police dishing out tear gas like it's confetti
I think they're gonna have to bring in a booze ban or something, I know there's no drink allowed in Lens where they play Wales, but it's 2 days straight of fighting with locals and police now.
Have to say I'm pretty happy we're not in their group as I'm heading over tomorrow

And, yea, I know many will say they were provoked but that's not really an excuse. Like, why go on holidays to watch football and just get in fights, I just can't fathom the logic of them, and I know it's a minority too, but it's a big minority

People are calling Ireland's group the group of death, but group F has five entries: Hungary, Iceland, Portugal, Austria and Cristiano Ronaldo's ego. Whoever wins the group will still finish second to CE's ego. He'll be voted highest scorer and best player of the tournament, but it'll still consume him that Lionel Messi is playing in the Copa America.

Who is the bookmaker? Just so myself and everyone else can boycott the shysters if that's the lame shyster excuse they are peddling.

Funny thing about Payet is he's so old. He feels like a newly discovered young talent.

He was just plying his trade with that small southern french team in that small town Marseille, perhaps you haven't heard of it. Just won the league in this country called France a few years ago with another quaint village team called Lille.
