The last time I paid tax in Ireland was in 2014 as I have been abroad and lately have been doing a jobsbridge. What do I do for a P45?

Employer can fill in a P46 for you if they're fussed about it.

Get the employer's registration number, and call Revenue with it and your start date. You may need to explain to them what your income and tax situation from where you have been living is.

Is that not just for the first time you commence employment?

    Officially, yes.

But in practise it can be used anytime you need to give Revenue a full update about your circumstances.

    Or just ring them, quicker
