But that's a political statement, and meant to be offensive and provocative.

Not sure the supporters who write about dicks doing damage and destroying women are really engaging in political statement. They think it's funny. It's not.

I liked the 'Scotland Shít Their Pants And We Ended Up in France' flag and the Jack Grealish 'Home Alone' one but other than that most are just meh!

They're all terrible and I don't understand the one with the woman asking "Can I come home for the euros (sic) lads?"

Irish flags used to just state in black letters the names of working class areas of Irish city's we were travelling from

Michaela McCollum. The Northern Irish girl who was in a Peruvian jail for drug smuggling.

That was donkeys years ago, before the invention of banter and Joe.ie

Jesus lads lighten up a bit, fans going over probably won't have a lot to cheer about considering the standard of football we play. They might aswell try and find some way to enjoy it

I do like the one that says, "were not here to take over, were here to take part".

    Gave me a chuckle.

All those flags look like they were made and printed in the same asian sweatshop.

Match all the jerseys the fans will be wearing so!

Who are you the humour police? That's the thing.. THEY think it's funny.. I don't think it's particularly funny.. You obviously don't either.. At the end of the day it's a bit of banter. If you don't like it just ignore them.

I laughed at the michaela one, the rest were a bit meh.

They're a disgrace. These putrid attempts at attracting Joe.ie and its ilk's attention are directly responsible for the dumbing down of Irish society.

Desecrating a flag of your own country should be an act of treason.

I won't lose any sleep over it, but i think it's just about one of the worst things a person can do against the country they call home

But aren't they over there supporting the glorious boys in green.

more than can be said for the likes of you.

The names of local towns and villages has a certain charm about it. This crap not so much.

Aren't I over here working to support the trips of a hell of a whole lot of them? ;)

I have every right to question how they treat the flag of MY country.

The 'Angela Merkel Thinks We're Working Flag' at the last Euros was good.

The ones in that article are puerile in the extreme - have they been designed by 14 year old boys?

it's none of your business, really

I'd also say you're a brave man on the internet, but would shít your cacks at the thoughts of actually questioning one of these lads who's trip you are "supporting".

    Yep, the big internet talker.

    Spare me the supercilious bullcrap.

No no, I am not asking for them to be banned or censored.

If anyone displays a message in public, they have no right to expect everyone will like it. They are liable to be criticised. I don't have to ignore it either. I can say the efforts in that article are puerile, crude and unfunny. And display a trend towards the "my cock will smash her" trend that I find ugly.

Oh for the days of "Man, sell the sheep, send on the money" from 88 or 90.

The cretins have probably forgotten to get match tickets in their haste to tweet pictures of their wacky flags and camper vans. Most of them couldn't find Landsdowne Road if their house backed on to it.

No it wasn't. None of them are good, ever! Maybe if they were just banners people might think they're a bit of craic, but they're plastered across your national flag. You don't even have to be patriotic to consider them obnoxious.
