Health Insurance tax relief

    I am lucky enough to be able to afford health insurance. And I get tax relief. Dont remember applying for it, but its there in the breakdown of the annual premium. If I am made unemployed, so not paying tax, will the health insurance tax credit have to be removed, or does everybody get it automatically whether they are working or not?

    Tax relief is granted at source, there is no separate application for it (unless your employer is paying for it), and no, you don't lose it if you become unemployed.
