Was chatting a neighbour this morning. He, along with a bunch of other blokes went deep sea fishing over the weekend.
Everyone was pretty ok, except one lad who was violently seasick the entire time.
He puked till there was nothing left, then puked some more. .
Hanging over the railing, exhausted, and the Skipper asked him, "you're pretty ill; did you throw up a brown thing yet?"
"No" says her man, "I didn't, what would that be?"
"That'd be your ar*e hole" says the Skipper !

That was me one time, but I was scuba diving off the coast of Kerry in the middle of winter. First day diving was fine but second day, never made it off the inflatable. Leaning over the side feeding the fishes.

Seriously though there are some serious cases of sunburn around, do people not bother with sunscreen/hats etc?

I wear cream on my face but don't really bother elsewhere unless I know I'll be outside for hours.
White-pink-white. Sure if I put a bottlecap on my head I'd pass as a milk bottle.

    +1

Daughter got burned last Sunday for the first time, she normally takes the sun well.

I have a wide brimmed hat because the only part of me that burns is the top of my ears:o

Black turf will be inclined to get scrappy. You could heap in on the bog or wind row it and it'll help.

Haven't touched ours yet. Should have had it footed last week but too busy getting ground ready for the wild bird cover. Hope to get it done this week and will probably put it into wind rows.
