Adjacent (no-mans?) land

Hi, my partner and I purchased a 10 year old property last year cornering to a small piece of land (ca 2x8 meters). The adjacent neighbours already built a concrete wall, so I doubt it's with them either. Would you know where best to check with to find out who owns the land and how to officially add it to our property?…

got to www.landdirect.ie and proceed as a guest. Pick out the site and it will tell you if the site is registered to someone, it will even give you the folio number
