Poland to reach 1/4 final @ 2/1 Skybet. If they come 2nd in group, prob play Switzerland in last 16.

Poland to concede most goals @ 33/1 PaddyPower. If they beat Switzerland they likely play Spain in 1/4 final. Could ship a few to Germany and Spain, and maybe even a goal or two to Ukraine or Switzerland. Outside bet @ 33/1 of course.

France outright @ 7/2 PaddyPower (few weeks ago, now 3/1).

Croatia to qualify @ 4/9 William Hill.

Anyone predict any major upsets in group stages?

Think Croatia top there group imo.

    a good outside bet? @ 40/1

Well win could be a step too far but I might put a bit on them to reach the final at 16/1. Reckon any of 5 or 6 teams could come through on the top half of the draw, whereas it's hard to see past Germany and France on the other side.

Btw, which is generally better value, outright E/W or to reach the final?

Lads, Giroud looks great value and is most likely gonna be playing up front with Griezmann on the wing. But I don't know really....he loves to flop when the pressure is on, his last day hat trick in the prem league, that wouldn't have happened in the middle of February. This really reminds me of backing Fred at the world cup 2 years ago because Brazil had a good path to the final, what was I thinking??

Well he's been scoring for France lately and they're in what should be a straightforward group, but I know what you mean...

Anyone know why you can't group the top scorer for there team bets together on paddy power anymore?

I have now been reliably informed by a paddy power employee that even you can't accumulate them online, you can in the shop. I think there's coupons out for it.

I backed Benzema for top goal scorer and France to win it 2 years ago :o

I would say a 50/50 chance that one one of them will be lifting the trophy, so yeah...

Turns out there's a£20 limit on the bet , on second thoughts

Good to know. Bet365 will let you do multiples but you can't combine players from the same group. I'm looking at Giroud 3/1, Alaba 6/1, Long 9/2 - struggling to find a fourth selection for a Yankee.

Would like Siggurdson 7/2 or De Bruyne 5/1 but can't get them in with the other selections :( will try paddy's coupon..

Boyles also let you do multiples of top team scorers, I did one last week with Mandzukic, Janko, Kane, Pelle and Yilmaz.

Put a fiver on Will Grigg to be top scorer for Norn Iron @ 9/1 Coral

    He's on fire..

Take in mind there are quite a few more matches this tournament but those extra matches will not provide 5 red cards i reckon. Big part of those extra's will be dead rubbers and convenient draws.

Copa america referees handing out reds for fun, unbelievable!

    Different temperament.
    Players and refs.
They just dont take ****, no matter what the result is at that moment.

There is nothing more annoying than refs leaving players on the pitch that should have seen red, because "it wasnt the match for it"
Will not happen in S-America. **** up and off you go.

    It's 51 matches now versus 31 before. If 3 reds for 31, then 5 for 51.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,860 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

As long as they dont invite Damian Rubino to ref a few matches.

Third choice according to most Norn Iron previews. If it was a value bet with Norn Iron I'd be looking at Davis at 10s or better.

Duris for Slovakia, should be their stating cf. Mandzukic for Croatia. Can't look past Giroud at 7/2 as well. Tempted by Cikalleshi for Albania, and a couple of random long shots, McAuley for Norn Iron, they may struggle for goals and he's a set piece demon. Dszuzdzak (spelling) for Hungary, should be on pens and they struggle badly for goals.

I just stuck a tenner on ciaran Clark to be Ireland's top scorer. Long shot I know but so was st leger last time...

Backing centre halves for low scoring countries makes perfect sense to me.

I've been searching the usual betting sites to see if there's a bet available for the Irish teams player of the tournament. I've had no joy, is it possible?

Got an email off Pokerstars Sportsbook haven't used them in years.

Bet 25 on top goalscorer and get 5 free bet every time they score. Probably looks the best offer i have seen anyway.

Backing Ronaldo with that group you could have your 25 back in the group stages.
