Sorry if its been asked a million times....

I work and earn circa 32k per annum and my wife is earning 36k per annum
Is there any way that we get more if she gets my credits or i get hers or what way does it work?
Should i stay single or register marriage with tax office

Both of you are using your tax credits but you aren't using a small portion of your rate band. If you opt for joint assessment then you could transfer €1800 of your rate band to your spouse.
