    Hi all,

I wondering if anyone has seen these for sale anywhere for a decent price, I mean below 10€ or so  Or anything similar but it has to be heat resistant.

They're heat resistant rubber feet for the grate (pan stand) on the hob.

I had the same problem, I couldn't find a supplier of the feet anywhere!
In the end I used "instant gasket" from a motor factors, this is good stuff to use as it is heat resistant, critical when you consider where you are using it.

All I did was to squirt a bit into the hole and mould it into shape and left it to set, not pretty but functional.

I went with Sugru, they sell it in woodies now.

I've done full restoration of the hob grate and I'm very proud of the results. I used Oven Pride to strip all the grime and paint of the grate, washed, dried, sanded and finally sprayed with heat resistant paint for BBQs, stoves, grills etc - also sold in woodies. It looks like new now, pity I didn't take 'before' pictures.
