Or rather some detailing was done recently.
Engine detail by Elite Autoclean in Blanchardstown. I didn't take any before picture but they did a smashing job - engine bay is like new!

Snowed under with college assignments and exams over the past month and a bit. Now I'm finished I finally got around to giving the car a much needed clean, yesterday evening.

Wouldnt call it detailing, but might as well claim it is, to get a post in here of actually having done some car cleaning!
Time is never on my side anymore and dont get to spend the time on the car like I used to - breaks my heart!
Very quick wash of both; couldn't not wash hers too! :rolleyes:
And before anyone says it; yes, I missed plenty of bits, and my wheels need a refurb!

So gave the interior a clean last night, time was against me so no before pics and the after pics aren't the best either.... but take it from me not been able to touch the car over the past few weeks, resulted in a very messy interior.

It's very hard to try and keep that black surface dust free... it seems to be like a magnet for dust

I did a wheel detail yesterday. Again a long and tiring process made worse by the fact that my Fusso went all weird on me by leaving little white spots all over 2 of the wheels. Took me an absolute AGE to buff it all off. Switched to Collinite 845 for the other two and it was a breeze compared to it.0 -

Hard to capture it on camera sometimes but the whole car had ridiculous swirling like this all over to the point that it didn't even look black anymore

Lashed rain on Monday morning and by the time I had it home it was destroyed .. I'll wash it and wax it the next time I'm home and it should come up well again. I've banned the parents from washing it. "If you need it washed ring me" :pac:0 -

Yeah very rewarding doing the jap paint. I found the menzerna 300 can cake a little, not sure if I was using two much speed and overheating it. Got there in the end anyway.

Yet, people wonder why a detail is so expensive!!
Products used aside; the physical effort put into a job alone, should be enough to warrant the price!

You'd want a lift or ramps so you could work at chest level. The hardest part was the kneeling / sitting on a small stool.
I washed all my gear that evening so they would be nice and fresh for when the cupra arrives. I had a blue fluffasauraus microfibre and a white dry me crazy. I now have a slightly less blue fluffasauraus and a blue dry me crazy 0 -
