How is komplett.ie these days?

Hi

I'm currently shopping around for two hard drives and a monitor and komplett.ie has the best prices I've found outside of the German sites. How are they these days? I haven't shopped on there since the late 00s and I remember them being less than reliable at the time.

Their reputation hasn't spiked upwards or anything. Worse prices. Amazon would be the way to go for your shopping list.

Bear in mind this is a forum where people love picking stuff out and screaming BANG FOR BUCK, BANG FOR BUCK!

Hard to believe that Komplett could be cheaper for anything outside of a firesale.

Two WD 4TB blacks and a PG279Q. Blacks because I can't find 4tb 7200 RPM blues and the PG279Q because I've been saving for it for months.

You sure amazon are more expensive? Here's a quick price comparison across the amazon EU stores, first the monitor:

I had a quick look and amazon France will ship both to Ireland and prices are considerably less than Komplett
(€839 vs €793 for the monitor and €299 vs €209.90 for the hard drive).

Edit: Just to add the €793 price is a reseller on amazon.fr, the 4K version of the Asus is sold by amazon themselves here - you need to click the monitor described with Couleur: IPS / 4K / 4ms :

Ahhh that would explain it i was looking at amazon uk!

Edit: Yep just checked, cheaper than komplett. Is there any reason not to just use the european Amazon sites for everything?

I think Amazon are the second coming of our Lord and Saviour but Komplett are pretty good servicewise when they get around to responding to their Talk to here.

Edit: No more Talk to I see - shame - no more orders from me then.
