Was walking the dog around the gaa pitch and heard the thunder in cork. I actually thought it was something after failing over. It's still going on now. I've never heard this much continuous thunder.

It's sunny here now, no rain (north side of city) but thunder still very audible - can see airport hill from here and it looks much darker.

All action seems to be coming from right over the airport..surprised clouds aren't darker though..

It does look to have Cork as it's destination right now. Moving very slowly though

I'd say it'll die out before reaching Cork City.

Wouldn't like to be in the middle of that though! Chances are you'd be seeing monsoon rain or hail for at least an hour!

And i was just about to say the cell over cork looked impressive on the radar.
Wouldn't mind looking at that close up.
