Is strong flour in Ireland unbleached?

    Hi there

    I usually use tesco strong white and brown flour and sometimes odlums too. I couldnt find anything on the package that says whether it is bleached or unbleached. Anyone here know?

    All flour sold in ireland is unbleached. If it's whiter, it's because it's been aged (which is what bleaching is designed to replicate).

    thank you, I got some 00 flour from Italy called "luna gialla"

    I'm pretty sure all European flour is unbleached.

    The 00 just refers to the fineness of the mill, but as Tree has said, I think all European flour is unbleached these days.
