    I'm currently on maternity leave from my current employer oblivious il have to go back I currently living in Dublin but want to move back to Galway in next couple of years only problem previous employers are now closed I wouldn't be able to get a reference of my current employer so what can I do

    previous employers may be closed, but I take it that you can remember the name of the person that you worked for. Contact them for a reference.

    Are you in touch with an ex manager, or ex colleagues? They can provide a reference.

    Why won't you get a current employer reference? You don't have to say here, but I am wondering if you think you won't get reference because you opt not to come back? That should not be a problem.
