Sony Turntable problem

I have a Sony PS-X7 Turntable which I am very happy with except that recently for some reason I only get sound from one speaker. This does not happen with CD'S or other components. I think I may need a new cartridge but I don't know where to get one or which one to get. Can you help ? Any thoughts ? Much appreciated !
