Yes. On my father's bog. Truly one of the most cathartic things I do all year. Out in nature, physical feedback from your body that you've worked hard. Turf doesn't answer back or change deadlines.

    Do you?

    I do answer back.

    Are you a bogger?

I save turf for the family and I save my own to sell.

Do you think kids these days are lazy?

No. They've been brought up that way. I think work wise, they have less opportunity than maybe previous generations to become used to work. Elder generations must claim some responsibility also, it's those that drive the kids to school rather than them becoming familiar with the idea of having to "work" by walking/cycling to get there.
Could start a whole thread in that topic.

    Are you going out tonight?

    Yes. They're called the All-Ireland championships. :)
Music/entertainment wise, we have talent, just not enough to put a show on per season similar to UK. They've 15 times our population, of course they'll have more options.

    Who's your favourite Irish entertainer?

It came up one day when I googled an aviation question and I lurked for a while before joining.

Yes. Don't like Utd or Jose so this is consolidation of focus for me. If they sign Diego Costa, I'll be all set.

Not particularly. Lovely sunny day here. Everywhere else seems to be experiencing very changeable weather today.
I do hope both Cork and Tipperary lose though.

    Should the GAA turn professional?
