So the last train home is at 9pm, which means I'll have to miss the second game for getting home; the double Bill In Croke Park. Of course it's 5am now, which means I'll have to find some way of entertaining myself between now and the first match at 17:15. I'd prefer to keep drinking, but I dunno if me and twenty quid can manage it between now and ****ing hours away. I don't know if I can manage it.

I've asked a few fellas out on dating sites. Asked them to go to a match with me. I'm just being selfish. I wanna go to a match, Someone said it'd just be me an 20,000 boggers screaming at a young fella to, "Break his legs!" I find myself thinking that many a night. But if it was in a controlled environment. Me and another 20,000 hang aters, and tanora drinkers, I think it could be something special.

I'd have to negotiate Dublin and all them junkies. At the strange hours it's a bit weird, when there's only shoppers out. Going to, Brown Thomas? Or Pennies? Or Arnotts? I dunno. It's only them and the scaldy folk. It's a scary place, the big shmoke. Lot's of people, more sub-prime mortgages than the eye can see, and a fierce whiff of young ambition and foreigner.

It's 5am, and I can get a train up to Dublin. And go see a match (unfortunately not the both of them.) I'll be sober as a judge which sounds awful. I've overcooked beef next to me, maybe I'll make a sandwich. And indulge in a pint (Guinness of course) at the right time. And see my first footie match on a Saturday.

Will it be a grand day out or should I just go to bed? I have no idea where Croke park is put I presume there's a Dort or Luas somewhere nearby.

How did you blow €45 between typing the thread title and the end of your first paragraph.

Also, there'll definitely be one non "bogger" there but I'm only going in to see the hurling

I've had grand designs for the next day, like yours after being up too long on the sauce for the night before. It normally ends with a day of recovery in bed.

You did make me smile though, so for that alone I wish you good luck. :-)
