In Spring maybe but all-time record, no.

My highest jump (from negative to positive, not positive to negative since I call that a drop) for my station Grange is:

April 1989: 4.2c (my coldest April on record)
May 1989: 12.1c

Increase: +7.9c

Interesing stuff guys, the recent heatwave in India seemed mental for the time of year are we getting close to an event when excessive heat is going make parts of our planet uninhabitable for certain times of the year for large populations of people and/or such whensuch heat is going to kill thousands in a sort space of time ie a few days. i think it is only after a series of events like this are we as a species going to take human influenced climate change more seriously.

Maybe not where Oneiric 3 got it, but can highly recommend "The Climate Of Dublin" - http://www.met.ie/publications/books.asp , data is a bit old now (published in 1983), but data set goes back a long way and has just about every stat imaginable for about every location in Dublin where people have measured the weather. Mine is a well read tome!
