    Hi brides n grooms,

Just wondering if anyone had any experience of a wedding at the drury buildings? Having finally come to agreement on fallon and Byrne,we find out it's booked out on our date! Waaaahhh.

My criteria is : city centre, nice food, space for a band and dancing, pref not a hotel. Thought the drury buildings might work but can't find much in the way of wedding reviews.

    Thanks

Good friend had reception in Drury buildings. I thought it was brilliant to be honest. Start on ground floor for drinks; move to 1st floor for dinner and then upstairs for dancing. Food was very good as well. Toughest part was trying to get everyone to the drinks reception and out of all the pubs on the way. Groomsman/Bridesmaid job to be fair.

    Good luck!

Drury buildings can only accommodate up to 50 (edit: I think). Might be too small for some weddings- we ruled it out for that reason. In the end we went with The Morrison. We don't want a traditional hotel wedding and tbh the space in the Morrison isn't overly "weddingy" which we like. Can't get much more central and I like that we can get married there, saves on travel. 1 location weddings are the biz.

Thanks guys! The other half thinks it's too hipstery. Unlucky for him he's marrying one! Think we're gonna change our date n go back to fallon n Byrne. Which falls just the right side of the hipster divide apparently!
