Fibre only (don't need phone) - do deals come up?

    Hi,

My 18 month Simply Broadband (€35pm) contract with Vodafone is up.

I'm eligible to upgrade to fibre with VF, another 18 month contract @ €40pm

The other fibre options I've priced are:

    - Sky €45pm
12 months (doesn't seem to be an option to exclude phone service)

    - Pure €39pm
18 months (don't know anything about them really)

    - Eir €45pm
    18 months(30pm first 3 months)

As I'm in no rush to switch to fibre (seems I'll only be getting max 30mb where I'm living, and I'm not a heavy Netflixer etc anyway..), my question is:

    (tldr)
Is there any point holding out for a few months in the hope there might be a deal from any of the above suppliers, or does that not really happen?

Thanks in advance for any help.
