Day trip to aran islands. Dogs?

Hi does anyone know if you can bring your dogs to the Aran islands for a day trip looks like a great place for a day trip?

I think they allow dogs on the ferry, best to ring ahead though.

It shouldn't be a problem, the ferry I remember was pretty open, it's not like it's assigned seating. May only become a problem during the height of tourist season where the people running the boat may have concerns if the boat is packed.

Although Aran being an island there may be some disease issues. So like Rolllo says, just ring ahead in plenty of time and I'm sure they'll arrange something if they can.
