    Yes I would.

If your best friends partner or spouse was having an affair, would you tell them?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,768 ✭✭✭✭tomwaterford

    Yes I would.

If your best friends partner or spouse was having an affair, would you tell them?

No...not my place tbh as from my experience....most people I know in relationships are miserable/cheat anyway
(There are a few lovely exceptions though)

Though if it was one of my sisters partner doing the dirt...I would tell them (I never interfere in their personal life)

Does this make me the most hypocritical person ever

What's on the agenda for today?

What's on the agenda for today?

Work, various other things like gym and gardening. I generally try to identify a few items and if I do 60% plus of what I had in mind but am kept active then I consider it a good thing.

    Where are you right now?

I work in a very large open plan office and I park my car on the side of a raised side access road alongside a grassy area away from the main car park away from all the door-bangers- it just so happens I can keep an eye on it from my desk also.

I could spend ages describing the topography of the area but let's just say it's complicated. On one sunny day, someone called to me and said 'Hey, is there a guy interfering with your car up there? It looked like there was a guy standing at my front passenger door hunched over looking into the car. I looked and decided 'nah; can't be'- there must be some explanation.

More and more people looked up and some went to the window for a better angle but everyone started disagreeing with me and saying 'you should go and check that out right now- that's not right at all'. There was now a crowd of people at the office window, aghast and telling me I need to go and sort this right now! I was still searching for an explanation but between all that was being said and the evidence of my eyes, I bolted for the front door. Meanwhile, my team leader saw me racing out the door and asked what was going on, saw what we were looking at and tore off in a different direction toward the fire exit. Another TL was trying to get security on the phone. I was now running across the car park and my TL was running up the gardens ready to kick the head off yer man.

Myself and my TL rounded either side of the trees near where the guy was and just like magic (well, error of parallax) as I got nearer I saw about a gap open up between my car and your man. I looked over at my TL who was after slowing from a gallop to a canter as he made the same realisation.

The guy was sitting on a grassy hump about 15 feet before from my car hunched over his phone, eating a sambo in office attire.

We got back inside, sweating and and panting and people were still standing at the office window still convinced there was some guy trying to breaking into my car. I got some slagging for it.

    What about you?

I had 2 new starts who I put working with an existing staff member. I went out to them on the floor to talk about the project. I was all professional, snappy, "You're doing this, then this. I want this done and so on". I turned to leave and headbutted a steel pillar right in the middle of the floor.

The 2 new guys were there mouths open. The existing guy was practically wetting himself and lying on the floor.

I walked past an hour later and was shown a band aid on the pillar. :)

    What's for breakfast?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34,499 ✭✭✭✭Caoimhgh1n

Just cereal this morning, maybe a tea or coffee as well.

Am I the only person that gets runny noses every early summer and early winter?

Yes. We're all laughing about it.

Do you like listening to classical music while having you're breakfast on your own or are you, you know, weird?

I am weird and I do like listening to music when having my breakfast but rarely classical.

Do you have a favourite painkiller?
