Recommend a bathroom extractor fan

I need to replace an ageing extractor fan in the bathroom as its just about drawing air and no more. Could any of you experts care to recommend a good decent fan (brand/model) at a reasonable cost?

I've two new ones. Vortice is good but a bit noisy. The Vent-axia one we have is quieter.

Check the specs online for airflow and nose in dB. They vary model to model rather than maker to maker.

Screw fix.ie have a good selection of fans with reviews. I just replaced a bog standard fan in ceiling with chrome front, it was noisy but lasted 8 years. Think it was this one

Replaced it with Xpelair

Which is much quieter and has a few more settings but found it had cheap parts on pcb board when installing I knocked out of place and had to re-solder it. Only other thing was I had to adjust wiring to suit new fan. If you can get something like the last one then go for it.

Oh I got the Xpelair on adverts for 25euro from another member.
