Car Headunit issue with Auto Stop/Start

I am currently having an issue with a new headunit I have in my car.

Basically it is a Roadnav Android S160 and whilst the unit is fine it has small issues.

1.) The Car has Auto Stop/Start on the engine, so when you come to a stop the engine stops and then when you depress the clutch the engine starts again. But this seems to cause the headunit to cut out for a split second and mute, almost the same behaviour when you start the engine for the first time and if the headunit was already on.

I have been told the power loom may require a capacitor to be added to it but I have'nt a clue where to start.

I am going to get a local ICE installer to have a look but just in case it is an easy fix would anyone have any ideas ?

    Thanks

I don't know about other head units but I know that alpine head units from the last few years have the stop start feature built in where they can accept very low voltage before going off.
