I am currently looking at venues for my wedding in June 2017 and really like the look of the Morrison as our ceremony will be in City Hall. Does anyone have any experiences (good or bad) about hosting a wedding there or have been a guest?

Also the same question about the Westbury hotel!

I've been to the Morrison as a guest. It was beautiful. There was a mezzanine where we had the meal. Because it overlooked the restaurant you got the atmosphere without having to be in it if you know what I mean. It was a small party of about 50. Food was amazing. Lovely and casual but still classy. I'm sure if they've a separate room it would be just as nice for a larger party.

Haven't been to one but we're having ours in the Morisson and I'm delighted about our choice. So far they seem super easy to work with. We have the Print Rooms downstairs for ours all day (ceremony and dinner for 80 with an additional 40 or so for dancing and afters) with a drink reception in that mezzanine area after the ceremony.

Have also eaten in the Morrison restaurant and the food is really good- as are the cocktails which is important to us. :)

I think its just a matter of taste. The Morrison is quite modern, while the Westbury is more classic, but they're both lovely options.
