    About a week ago, in a desperate attempt to save a dying basil plant. It didn't work...

    Not in a big way ,I usually plant a few flowers / plants every year .Some die and I repeat.

    Have you ever taken a plant hostage and held it for ransom?.

    Yes. One of them illuminating thingys. It looks nice but is too small to read without pulling it across the desk.

    All my housemates have gone out I think. Though the bedroom nearest mine is the Spanish guy's, he's lovely.
