What sweets or food items, that we can no longer get (OR are not as popular as years ago) can you remember?

Touch downs and smileys stand out for me in the sweets catagory. I remember eating a lot more frozen things when I was younger than we do now...like those cripsy pancakes!

Those crispy pancake things that would burn you if you bit into them too soon. Tasty though.

You mean the white sticks (that tasted like bloody chalk but I ate it anyway) ones?
I seen them for sale today in my local tesco with Tom and Jerry and Star Wars on them.

Funny this thread came up, as I have walked past them twice now in tesco and was meaning to buy them, now I have an excuse to disappoint myself :pac:

That explosive powdered stuff we used to put on our tongues, and then we'd run around the place like demented dogs, off our heads on the e-number colourings/flavour-enhancers that were by-products of nuclear power stations.

Bazooka Joe chewing gum. It had a comic strip wrapped around it and you could collect them and send off for rewards. I think my brother got a camera?

Apparently you can still get the gum, but they don't include the comic strip any more - which was the whole reason you bought it. Silly company!

Oh, and I've mentioned it about twenty times on boards already, but Sam Spudz Smokey Bacon were the best crisps ever! EVER!!
