Great night sleep. I think I actually fell asleep before 11, which is unusual for me.

    Working today?

Are you proud to be a nerd?

Are you proud to be a nerd?

Yes, my birthday is Pi day and I always get a giggle out of that because I work as an engineer. Kinda feel I was destined for this field even though currently it's not overly enjoyable.

What would be your dream career?

    Eitomillions winner.

Reading anything good at the moment?

Oh yes, Terry Pratchett - Night Watch
It's my favourite of the Guards/Diskworld books I think!

What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen sparrow?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,089 ✭✭✭Lavinia

Believe it or not - it's the amazing 11 meters per second :pac:

(only joking, that's the speed of a swallow ;) sparrows speed according to wiki is 46km/h or 12.7m/sec...)
BTW didn't want to make any (bad) jokes with little sparrows
    :o

Any plans for the long weekend?

Any plans for the long weekend?

I'm undecided and probably won't make up my mind until Saturday. I don't work Mondays anyway so they really don't make any difference to my life. Maybe a night away on Sunday.

Do you have any suggestions where I could go?

I love being alone but certain situations create a loneliness inside of me. When I see a couple and their child a little ache springs up in my belly. Or when I see a mother and daughter having coffee. But nothing as bad as the loneliness I've felt in the company of others.

    What about you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,089 ✭✭✭Lavinia

Yes well, I have spent many years in relationship(s) so being single finally felt good in the beginning... Wouldn't mind a change now but only for something good as am not in a mood for drama at all lol

Can you leave your father for a longer periods of time of he requires constant care? (If it is okay to ask...)
If not, then the question is, when were you last time at hairdresser and what did you do :D

I use facial scrubs and moisturiser a couple of times a week.

Is it bad to pop or cut open in-grown hairs?

No, but there's always something to be done so usually do not feel it as "free time"..

    Do you?

Weekdays: Usually only get about 4 or 5. I can easily sleep for 12 hours on the weekend though.

Are 40 winks essential for the body and mind?

Everyone one is different ,but certainly a good sleep is essential for the effective functioning of mind and body.

Have you ever supported anything on a crowd funding site?. (eg kickstarter)

Yep I'm a boardgame player /collector ,so i have backed a fair few boardgames over the years. They work out a lot cheaper than retail and the exclusives increase their value.

Do you watch Game of Thrones?.
