There was no option for just liking it a regular amount, so I chose the 'meh' option. It's nice though.

I was in some warm foreign hate filled country as a boy when I stumbled upon an ice-cream shop. My eyes lit up with excitement when I saw the a big tub of green loveliness through the display window. "Can I have 2 scoops of that one, please?"

I may have said "thanks", I may have started to eat it out of the guys hand, such details are not really important because.....

    Pistachio....

My auld fella thought it was hilarious. Pr!ck.

    Like it or loathe it?

I love mint chocolate, hard to beat an after eight and nothing more refreshing than a nice mint feast or some mint vienetta ice-cream or best of all the haagen dazs mint leaf chocolate ice-cream.

When I moved to Germany, I suddenly found myself in a land where it is universally despised. It is a challenge to find a mint ice-cream, no mint feasts or vienetta here :( Italian Gelato is the only good source and mint chocolate is not sold in many places.

This Easter we got after eight chocolate bunnies from the company I work for, for the last few weeks people have been handing over their chocolate to me :D

Is this a German thing or do lots of Irish people also dislike mint chocolate

I feel your pain OP, I went close to madness trying to find a supermarket mint ice cream over here, in the end I just had to settle for buying it one scoop at a time from a gelateria

Anyone going or who knows someone living in America get your hands on peppermint patties, they're made by York. Like big fat discs of after eight. Pure heaven. I stick them in the freezer and they turn a bit chewy.

Any kind of mint chocolate is good with me.

Mint Emeralds are the biggest dissappointment ever.

    I do!

Had it couple of times, thought it was absolutely delicious.
Think there is some other one as well, but the vanilla one is just yum!

They do Strawberry Milkshake, and i think a Belgian Chocolate one and an Iced Coffee Latte drink but I think their Chocolate Flavored Milks are nicer than those Flavor Milkshakes. There's a nice yogurt Coconut drink in Dealz and Lidl sometimes get a Apricot Yogurt drinks in, so nice. :):)

Belgian chocolate, yea, that's the one I had in mind.
Out of the two of them, I always go for vanilla one though as it's so nice!

Milkshakes aside, I do absolutely agree with you about those flavoured milks.
I usually end up walking out of there with both chocolate and banana one.

Love mint chocolate - just mint chocolate, not as keen chocolate filled with mint goo or mint chunchie bits. I got an After Eight Waster egg - wish you could just buy the chocolate in a bar. Green and Blacks organic mint chocolate is good too.

White chocolate is the sweepings off the floor after they make real chocolate. It has no place in a civilised society.

Then I don't want to be a part of civilised society.

Damn now I want white chocolate!! Love the milky bars- the skinny ones, not the new chunky ones.

Love mint chocolate of any kind, would love an After Eight right now actually (well in 2 mins)

Talking of combinations that don't work, a mate of mine ordered a porter flavoured with coconut last night. Absolutely rancid

Kinnegar Yannaroddy, I'm guessing? I couldn't detect even a hint of coconut from it, which was very disappointing as I love the stuff and the beer sounded like it would be amazing.

Not Kinnegar, they're yet to brew a beer I don't love. I'm in the US, so one of the craft breweries here, I'm assuming Revolution. It was so sweet, there must have been a ton of coconut flavouring in there.

They definitely changed the formula for the mint Aero at some stage, I remember it once being minty-er and chocolatey-er now it just tastes like a 50 cent knock off

    This guy!

White chocolate is proof of our Lord Jebus' love.

They had some cheap white chocolate buttons.

I invested in them lads and scooped them into the fridge.

For me it' just "meh". I much prefer orange/strawberry/coffee choc.

Slightly off topic but does anyone remember the bars of Hella Strawberry filled chocolate from Crazy Prices in the '90s?
Heaven. And I have never found anything that came close to it.
