About to refurb and ensuite and the shower will need replacing. Currently it is a Bristan mixer unit that was sourced in the UK that has seized/rusted up.

Can anyone suggest a good quality shower mixer, that has a good guarantee and is supported locally/ease of parts?

    Cheers.

Bristan aren't the greatest showers in the world but heatmerchants sell them so it can be repaired if you want.
If you are going to change the shower then you can't go wrong with mira. Mira don't make good electric or power showers but ask any plumber & they'll all tell you that they make great cartridge showers (the dial on the wall type). I'm not sure what warranty they offer but parts are always available even for showers made 40 years ago.
