    Tits out!!

Hug a Brit by Sheep Lover.

    I don't want a hug, I'll take a firm handshake though.

I'd be quietly confident all those involved are dead, so pretty unhuggable anyway.

This is counterproductive and it's somewhat offensive that they think that British peoples desire to leave something like the EU is simplistic to the point that hugging them and saying nice things could change their minds.

It's basically the strategy that the rest of Britain used to get Scotland to vote against independence though, isn't it? TV campaigns telling them how great they were and how much they'd be missed if they left. That and a bit of fear mongering about losing Sterling seemed to be the core of the campaign.

It's embarrassing the lengths the pro-EU lobby will go to.

    AKA the Welsh.

Wouldn't be hugging any Welsh people personally.

    Must be getting worried.
I'm getting letters from the government asking me not to leave Europe - [wasn't planning on going anywhere].
Then Obama pops up on the TV today - didn't know the US had joined the EU.

Arrives and tells them what a great friend the UK is.....then tells them they'll be at the back of the queue for a trade deal if they leave.....

Yep. Nothing like diplomacy - and that was nothing like it.

At least he didn't remind them what a "sh*tshow" Libya had become since their intervention, so it could have been worse.

Still could be. Brits are not finished with Libya yet

I Should have said "remind them again" . He's already slagged off the UK efforts in Libya once.

    Quite.
    Or his own country.
Or the countries that voted in favour of the UN resolution - and were then accused of contravening it.
By the way, you placed an asterisk where an "i" should be.
    Typo?

The best way to hug a brit to not hug us at all since being British we recoil from all forms of affection and emotion. Best way is to bring us tea and biscuits. Only one biscuit each mind, we wouldn't want to be too indulgent.

I'm way before my time, I've hugged loads of Brits, all consensual of course, and undressed. Will I get a medal?

I only discovered today that I have become disenfranchised (sounds painful) as I have lived in the ROI for over 15 years, came as a bit of a shock that I can no longer vote :(
