BIK I never received

I recently signed up for company health insurance and on my next payslip I received BIK of 600 euro and obviously paid tax on this. However, I then cancelled this insurance as I found out my partner had me on her policy and the company I work with said they'd cancel it.

Just wondering how I go back about claiming the 200 quid or so tax I would have paid on this BIK that I never actually received any benefit from?!

Its possible that your employer will fix it through payroll, otherwise you may have actually been insured for a month in which case you received the benefit even though it was not actually wanted.
