Quite literally a bit of everything

    Are you working tomorrow

    No

Was there an advice you gave/give to others that you yourself did/do not follow?

I would advise anyone who feels they need it/struggling with things to go see a councillor (and 100% not judge them for it)

But I'd never go myself personally

Have you any plans for the bank holiday weekend

Not a sports guy at all.

Do you know anyone who went on to murder someone?

I do, yes, their own child :(. Also someone who accidentally killed someone, and served time for it.

Have you ever visited someone in prison ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,089 ✭✭✭Lavinia

No, never knew anyone who went to prison

    Did you?

I've known a few: tough kids who became tougher teenagers and then adults. I had zero association with them since childhood though.

Do you know anyone with the same name as you? If so, how is your association with each other?

A gran aunt, a cousin. Another mother at the school. A random person on Facebook who requested a heap of people with the same name as her.

Do you have a typically Irish surname ?

I've been in prisons but in a professional capacity so I guess you could say I visited some people there.

How do imagine you would be as a visitor in a prison, nervous? Apprehensive?

It's not hugely common down this neck of the woods, but a well known figure shares the same surname (no relation, thank ****!).

Would you like to form your own micro-nation?

    Not particularly.

What made you laugh out loud today?

A colleagues description of how disinterested he is in his broadband provider making "improvements" to his contract. Shade of Basil Fawlty about it.

Do you think some people are just not wired for relationships?

I don't. Instead I think many people for lots of different reasons struggle with relationships. This doesn't mean they can't find happiness within one. Hell I struggle with them!

Do you think that of yourself? That you are not "wired"?

If you're asking is it a fear of mine then no. I accept who I am. If that means there are parts of life that don't come easy to me then so be it. A lot of our difficulty comes from pushing against who we are :)

    How are you doing tonight?
