Stephen King's IT. I love it but have been reading it forever!! Boards fault :)

Finished "An affair with my mother" this week. Powerful. Enjoyed it.

Last book you refused to finish?

Last book you refused to finish?

Is that about a woman's experience making contact with her birth mother?

    Anna Karenina. I just couldn't.
Actually there's been quite a few well known and loved books that I couldn't finish.
    One hundred years of solitude
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell (I think that's how it goes)
That they may face the rising sun
    Crime and Punishment
Mr Whicher (I can't remember the proper title)
    The Fountainhead
    The Golden Notebook.
    A suitable Boy.

I absolutely love books but Jaysus the above were torture.

That's the one. You certainly have a few that didn't appeal to you.

Do you think it's necessary to be physically attracted to someone to consider a relationship with them?

Do you think it's necessary to be physically attracted to someone to consider a relationship with them?

Oh absolutely. Well for me I wouldn't even be able to consider dating a man who I felt no attraction towards and I would want him to feel the same.

    What about you?

    What about you?

Think so but find it hard to know am I being too picky or truly not attracted to someone. Could say I over think it wayyyy too much.

Ever did something you truly regret?

    Trust your gut.

I deliberately set out to hurt another person. There was no coming back from it. I made a wrong judgement about their character and in doing so lost a friend.

    Are you a night owl?

Kind of. Sleep on average about midnight so... Strangely, usually go to bed earlier on Weekend nights which can't be good

    I effed up.

Should I power off and then on again?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,089 ✭✭✭Lavinia

    Could solve it :-D

I think I will power off anyways.

Do you wish good night to someone every night?

    You're doing just fine.

I remember that was a film. Mercedes Rheul was the name of the actress. I'm probably getting her surname wrong.

    Am I right?

I do. I'm a little old fashioned like that.

Are long distance relationships doomed to failure?

    No. :(
    Am I right?

Not sure I'm afraid but good knowledge.

Are long distance relationships doomed to failure?

No. They're difficult but a lot of relationships are. They're worth it though aren't they.

Do you have a ritual for going to bed?

I wash my teeth and face. A few times around the internets. A bit of meditation if I'm wound up. Some Spotify. I don't really have a set bed time routine.

Do you consider yourself to be artistic?

I'd like to be but no skill.

    Do you like crude humour?
