Interesting programme I had not heard of Tony Felloni before but his name alone would indicate that hes a criminal:D

He was a horrible animal, who actually got his own kids addicted to heroin to keep them working for him.

The general was scum! If you knew what he did to the guards extended family you wouldn't class him in the Robin Hood light! Pure knacker!

The media has always been obsessed with Martin Cahill. The amount of documentaries about him is unreal they really do portray him as a hero most of the time.

Anyone remember when Felloni Rossi Walsh tried to torch that pub in Summerhill? He cut a gas pipe, but an explosion occurred while he was still inside. He was found on the street under a heap of bricks. He claimed he just happened to be walking past at the time. :D

Odd though that while normally he couldn't fart without his surveillance knowing about it, on the morning he was shot, there wasn't a single cop on his tail.

A lot of the stuff he did was overrated imo. Looks good in the papers and on telly.

Great documentary on Gerry Hutch on youtube atm..

The general under 24/7 hr Garda watch until he left his home and was shot to death.

Alan Ryan under 24/7 Garda watch until he left his home and was shot to death.

David Byrne Senior kinahan gang member under 24/7 constant watch until shot to death.

Maybe sometimes the state don't give a dam and reckon it be better if these huge thorn in there sides were out of the way by turning there backs for a bit, while the rules of the world these men lived in takes its natural course.

Who says these people were under 24/7. Even overt surveiklance is highly resource intensive and while there may be periods they are under constant surveillance, it is not going to be all their life - Gardaí simply don't have the resources.

If you're looking to assassinate somebody you know is often under surveillance, you are obviously going to first try to determine if the Gardaí are watching.

And even if there is cover surveillance in operation, it does not mean anybody is in a position to intervene in an attack - it's not close protection duty.

Internment is what we need for the dealers, their associates and the users of their filth. Repossess all their wealth and property. We need thousands more guards and prison spaces and a harsh crackdown on drug use, Take off the kids gloves and threat the users like the dregs they are.

My Grandparents have the misfortune of being buried quite close to Cahill (about 20 yards away) and everytime a headstone is erected on his grave it's torn down and the grave vandalised.

If ever anybody didn't deserve to rest in piece it's him.

More stuff in the Sunday World about the gangland scene in Dublin.

Apparently this is the intended target of the hit in Finglas where a child had a lucky escape:

Apparently 'Fat' Freddie's mob is suspected to be behind it.

Nice to see the ERU presence is paying for itself by actually catching these guys!

    Dissidents!

At least Nicola Tallant can't claim the penguin and the joker have teamed up to make a super bomb destined to destroy Leinster house!

Amazing they are two steps ahead of the dissidents but when it comes to a feud everyone knew about they have their heads up their arses.

There has been a check point on that corner nearly every evening for the last few weeks. Haven't seen one in the last few days.

Our office looks across at that corner. We heard up to 10 shots, there's a lad on the ground in a pool of blood. Guards are trying to recussitate but doesn't look good
