Audi A3 Sportback

Thinking about a 1.4 TFSI A3 Sportback like this one: http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/audi/a3/used-2008-audi-a3-sportsback-1-4-dublin-fpa-201414569065072020 Anyone got any ideals or opinions on it? whats the fuel economy like. This will be a 2nd 'runaround' car mostly. thanks

Expect around 7l/per 100km. Nice engine but needs looking after so would not buy without a FSH.

Around 40mpg in old money. It is quite an efficient engine.

thanks for that. Anyone got any alternatives to the A3 to consider? Dont like the Seat Leon and the Golf TSI's seem to be in short supply.
