Hi,
I am thinking of buying this car, need advice on it. What should I be looking before buying this one? Is this worth the price or till what price shall i negotiate. After booking the Dealer is ready to do NCT of the car ?

I checked the history and everything's match to the car description.

1.6 litre and Sport in the same sentence is bit of a contradiction. Looks like a base model rather than "Sport" anyway, 1.6 won't pull the skin off a sausage either. Looks clean though just make sure the hitch wasn't used to attempt to pull anything remotely heavy or big, i.e. make sure the clutch or gearbox are not knackered.

Only 2 owners which is good.

Worth noting that Charton motor company is owned by the same nice people that owned AS cars and DS cars :eek:

It's not a Sport either, it's the nameless base model.

Rear bumper has been resprayed (it is 10 years old though, but be aware of it) as has the rear passenger side door.

Badge or not, 6 grand for a car design that's 16 years old is a bit nuts. You'd probably be better off getting into the likes of an 07 Passat, which despite some niggley issues is a thoroughly more modern and (in most cases) better equipped car

I thought the back bumper looked a different shade alright but put it down to the photos and plastic v metal contrast.

To be fair an old model bogger reg A4 with an asthmatic 8 valve engine from the Audi 80 is hardly going to set the world alight.

yes guys you are right seems Charton motor company has a bad sales history. Before sales they were ready to renew the NCT but i haven't mark the rear bumper. One of the earlier owner had a trailer but it seems the price is high for the model.
