ITs an excellent count! (edit dotn know if its high or not think its age dependant).

Good that you are temping but often its only apparent a few days afterwards that ovulation occurred. In similar position myself on CD 15, but its a very real possibility that I am having anovulatory cycles and that this is one of them. this is only my second cycle temping and it was really obvious last time.

Thanks - I thought with the PCO it's bad and that you should have only a few (unless on meds).
I think I'll have to be patient with the temping but I definitely think it's better than the opk's. I normally do notice the CM but I haven't really this month so maybe I haven't ovulated yet or just won't. Making serious effort to BD every other day so hopefully that will cover it :)

Got a flashing smiley today! Looks like I'd better break out the pre-seed and the sexy undies.

I've been temping religiously this cycle, but my bbt is all over the place even though I take it at exactly the same time every day. It'll be interesting to see if I do actually ovulate because I had EWCM and almost-positive OPK strips a few times in my last cycle but didn't ovulate til something like day 92. I'm day 24 now so I'm praying this isn't a false alarm.

I cut right down on sugar and reduced a lot of carbs, drank more water and exercised more in the last 6 weeks. Also started taking Agnus Castus so maybe it's working??

Hi ladies, Bit of advice please. God the scan report from MFC in the post today, says I have 22 follicles on one ovary and 20 on the other. I am going to go for bloods with the GP for further tests but just wondering if there is a chance that I am not ovulating. We used the CB OPK both this month and last and I only got a peak very early in my cycle (day 9/10) with no high days beforehand. This month I use the cheapo ovulation strips that came with the thermometer and they have been negative for the past few days. Tracking my temp (although I started late into the cycle) and according to FF I haven't ovulated yet so it recalibrated. I know PCO doesn't necessarily cause problems conceiving but I'm just wondering if my follicle count is high or average? I'm slightly worried the GP will just say keep trying for another 6 months but then maybe that's fine. I'm not good with uncertainty!!

I would ring them and find out. Are they taking bloods aswell?

They did AMH, I'm going to get glucose, progesterone, thyroid and testosterone done in the GP.

How do you temp?.I found oral was all over the place (sleep with mouth open :) so I have to take iT vaginally. It is now a really clear pattern

Orally. Currently our little boy is still in our bedroom (1 bed apt) so not sure how it would work taking it vaginally if he's climbed into the bed with us :o

Hi, Does high sugar affect chances of conceiving? I'm just thinking my own diet is (embarrassingly) high in sugar but hadn't thought about it in relation to ttc!!

Completely understand but i don't think he'd notice. I don't even think my husband notices and I've been doing it for nearly 10months, can be quite discreet! I find it much more accurate.

Hi all. .new to this so any advice would very welcome. Im 44 with an amh of 3.4 which I've been told is good for my age. I've had a lap which showed a large fibroid which was treated with decaptyl last June. Since then I've only had 2 af brought on by noresterone. Im now on day 44 with no sign of anything. Pregnancy tests negative 😑. We have been on clomid 50 which was increased to 100 with no follicles seen on the scan last month. SeeN the consultant in repomed who did all the bloods etc. Vit D and folic acid very low so bumping up on those.
Obviously time isn't on my side. Just so fed up with everything going backwards since I had the decaptyl injection. Before it i was bang on 28 days cycle and knew exactly when u was ovulating I'd get this blinder of a headache in the morning. I already have a son from a previous relationship but 4 misc with my new husband.
Sorry for the moan. ..just having a bad day.

I would check with the clinic and gp. If you have had fertility testing I would stress how serious you are with the gp and they will know the further testing you want. Such a battle!

    Hey,
Still no sign of Af, awaiting blood results. Spent yesterday listening to friends tell me all of their stories of friends who conceived first time and without trying! Plus one asking me was I worried if 'killed' my fertility from using constant birth control! Feeling rubbish today but Dh full of flu so presuming it's that! Not dtd all week so immaculate conception is my only option 😂

I don't know in general, but I've suspected for a while that I might have PCOS (my doc suggested tests a year ago but I just wasn't in the right headspace) and a friend of mine who has it found that reducing the amount of sugar and processed food she ate made a huge difference to her, so I figured it couldn't hurt.

That's so annoying - hopefully bloods will shed some light. Yup totally hear you. I know quite a few people who were not trying long or not at all and are pregnant and I'm trying to bite my tongue. We're trying to dtd every second day but I feel like it could be a waste as I don't think I actually ovulated. It can be so deflating all this and being told not to stress or relax is not helpful. A friend a few years ago told me "you spend so much of your life trying not to get pregnant then so much trying to"! I never imagined that's exactly how I would feel. Hang in there and hopefully you will feel better tomorrow. It really is so good to know we are not alone in this journey.

I have been trying to cut way down on sugar, refined carbs and alcohol. More successful with the first two though.. Find it very difficult to give up the odd glass of wine (but not drinking any other alcohol at present).

I have pcos and after trying for over a year both times got pregnant on the back of a paleo style diet (which by default cuts out refined sugars etc) it also meant no alcohol. I'm 31 weeks on #2 now (you'd think I would have tried cutting this stuff out sooner!) I think there might be something in it and if nothing else is worth a try.

I definitely found cutting out sugar and refined carbs had a really positive effect on my mood and energy etc

Yeah, and I am overweight so even if it has no effect on my cycle at all, if I lose weight it'll be a good thing.

Hi all, 3 tests later ( 1 yest morn & 2 just now ) and I have faint BFP lines!!

I'm supposed to be due my period today. We were months & months trying and had two chemical pregnancies, so hang on in there all. I was convinced last week it wasn't going to happen & was about to make apt with fertility centre. Scousemouse one of my friends used to keep going on about getting pregnant first go but when I asked doc she said its so so rare so try to block it out.

We're excited but still super cautious though with it all what with my history of chemical pregnancies

.. this was first month giving temping a proper go, first month of using pressed and had two acupuncture sessions.

Thanks a million!. As I say we're excited but really cautious given the history. I'm temping mad and had what I think was an implantation temperature dip and now my temperature has gone high again whereas at this stage of the cycle it should have dropped. Also I've noticed in the past few days, am burping a bit, feel a little nauseous if I don't eat often, had lots of twinges / cramps & a bit constipated (sorry tmi)!

I was just about to make the fertility clinic apt in the morn. The very very best of luck to you Geez & to others too, hang on in there all & positive thoughts!

My friend followed a diet given to her by an alternative therapist and she found it fab. Improved her symptoms and she's just had her second baby.

Congratulations star bright!!! That's brilliant news, it's lovely to hear someone getting a BFP.

I'm on day 3 of flashing smileys today. Hoping my ovaries get their act together quick cos I've only got 4 tests left and I'm smashed so dunno if I'll be able to afford a refill box of strips!

    Could be implantation bleeding?
