What paint for race car bed

I have a red race car bed my little boy used and now I want to repaint for my little girl. No idea what paint I can use - is it ok to use those nice shades for garden sheds? Or the chalk paint? Any tips much appreciated

For a kids bed, you really want to be using low VOD or VOD free paint, you don't want your child breathing in toxins while they sleep.

biochrome.ie in Clare make a good selection of paints for this sort of thing, I think the major brands do non toxic paints too, but I've only seen pastel Matt type stuff.
