I see the Samsung S6 is down to ~€425 on amazon.de.

What difference will there be with buying a phone from Germany?

Will Samsung Ireland still honor the warranty.

are there any other issues with buying from amazon.de ?

If buying from Amazon and not a third party you won't have any issues. Warranty is EU wide.

I'm on my second phone from European Amazon's. You'll get a European ie 2 pin plug with it.

You might not be able to take advantage of the fast charge unless you use the correct charger.

Another thing I would think about is what if you have a problem and need to send it back, especially for phones with soldered batteries since anpost won't take them. Now luckly, Amazon UK and de will send you a prepaid label for returning the item to rathcoole , but Amazon.it don't do this and i'm not sure about what happens when you buy from .fr and .es

Hi I've bought a bunch of phones from Germany and other countries over the past few years. I've never had any trouble from European-based purchases.

About warranty, if there's some EU law requiring EU purchases to have a single warranty, then I'm not aware of that. But in most cases warranties seems to be for the whole of the EU. Even if a warranty didn't explicitly say for all of EU, I'd just ask.

Buying from Germany, the starter language will be in German until you select English. The software will be Samsung Germany so based on dispatch to the German market. In my experience with Android phones, the time difference between European countries software updates is of minimal time difference, days in fact.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Enjoy!
